Since I was a kid was curious on understanding how things work and were put together. Little I knew that this curiosity would lead me into studying architecture. There, in my home town of Ponce, I began to explore art and photography while in high school. I then went on to study engineering and drafting, and later moved to San Juan to study architecture.<\/p>\n There have been several architecture firms with which I had the privilege of working that allowed me to grow and have a better understanding of the profession. My previous experience includes working with the architect Robert Green<\/a> (who was an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright) on residential projects\u2014a profound influence in my professional growth and development. Other firms followed into a more historical style in the design process for country club houses, private schools, and commercial projects.<\/p>\n Although times and technology have influenced us all in so many ways, for me it is still enriching and relaxing to sit down for a few minutes and sketch ideas by hand.
